R92 Pewter Casting Alloy is an excellent casting alloy with approximately 92% Tin and 8% Antimony and containing no copper. It is the hardest of our tin based pewters. The melting temperature is around 466 F and the pouring temperature is approximately 100 degrees about that. The ingot is approximately 1 pound.

    Good alloy

    Use this alloy in wheel weights to achieve propper hardness and mold fill out...the added antimony is a plus because my bullet alloy can always use the antimony.....1 lb bar is a little harder to work with as oppose to pieces ...but just use Sawzall to saw off pieces I need....cheaper than tin pieces

    I don't have all the experience in the world, I am a self taught home caster. But I have been developing a line of Dino belt buckles and was really struggling until I tried R92 and wow! I am turning them out and it feels great! Ordering more ASAP!
