Description

Hardball Bullet Casting Alloy consists of 2% tin, 6% antimony and 92% lead. This modern version of the old Lyman #2 is an excellent all-around alloy for most handgun bullets and many higher velocity rifle cartridges. The Brinell Hardness of Hardball Alloy is about 16.

Sold in ~5 pound ingots.

Ingots are approximately 8-3/4" x 1" x 2" and weigh 5 pounds (+/- .25).

Melting point 600-700° F

I used this alloy to cast bullets for my 9mm and 45ACP.Almost zero slag. It makes great pistol bullets. I will continue to order it.

Rotometals is the best. I use them because they are reliable. Their quality and specs are the best I have found and that is now over sixty years of casting. Their shipping is fair and very fast. I generally have y order in 2-3 days which is awesome. I don’t believe there is anyone better than Rotometals.
