Woods Metal Ingot Excellent Value For The Money

Posted by Jimbo on Dec 19th 2019

I had NO idea this material still existed until I looked “Woods Metal” up on a lark, and there it was on the Roto Metals site! I’ve been building crystal set radios for 25 years, limping along making crummy, improvised crystal mounts using standard electronic solder. Last night, I whipped out my first successful galena crystal mount in about 20 minutes, then spent the rest of the evening listening to distant stations I never heard with the earlier setup. Now I don’t have to rely on diodes and how to bias them properly! I’m a member of several crystal set enthusiast groups and will pass on how easy your product was to use.
