Description

Sold in 5 pound increments.

Ingots are approximately 8-3/4" x 1" x 2" and weigh 5 pounds (+/- .25). If you choose, you will receive small, cylindrical nuggets that measure approximately 3/4" in diameter and length and range from .2 to .25 pounds, or 4-5 per pound. The nuggets are easier to melt than ingots and will not freeze the pot when added to molten metal. Each ingot measures approximately 8-3/4" x 1" x 2" and weighs approximately 5 pounds (+/- .25).

Please note that orders containing over 20 pounds of nuggets are likely to be shipped in bulk, rather than in 5 pound bags. If you need the nuggets in the five pound bags, please let us know in the notes. There may be some delay in shipment if you choose the bagged nuggets.

Hardball Bullet Casting Alloy consists of 2% tin, 6% antimony and 92% lead. This modern version of the old Lyman #2 is an excellent all-around alloy for most handgun bullets and many higher velocity rifle cartridges. The Brinell Hardness of Hardball Alloy is about 16.
