Description
Hardball Bullet Casting Alloy consists of 2% tin, 6% antimony and 92% lead. This modern version of the old Lyman #2 is an excellent all-around alloy for most handgun bullets and many higher velocity rifle cartridges. The Brinell Hardness of Hardball Alloy is about 16.

Hardball Lead Quality
Ordered fifty pounds of this for my 45-90 Shiloh Sharps to cast 540 grain bullets. Previously purchased alloys only got my bullets weights between 510 to 515 grains respectively. The RotoMetals Hardball was able to produce bullets between 525 and 530 grains respectively. The hardness was checked and it was spot on, so, that tells me the lead content was more consistently controlled than the last batch of material I had. Will definitely be ordering more!
