Description

Hardball Bullet Casting Alloy consists of 2% tin, 6% antimony and 92% lead. This modern version of the old Lyman #2 is an excellent all-around alloy for most handgun bullets and many higher velocity rifle cartridges. The Brinell Hardness of Hardball Alloy is about 16.

Sold in ~5 pound ingots.

Ingots are approximately 8-3/4" x 1" x 2" and weigh 5 pounds (+/- .25).

Melting point 600-700° F

Not much to review , it is what they say it is. I mix this one to one with straight lead , and when I cast my lead, drop it from the mould into a bucket of water. They come out plenty hard for all my cowboy loads up to 40-65 Win. and 30-30. Shipping was fast, ordered on Tuesday, on my doorstep Friday, casting Saturday
