Description

Hardball Bullet Casting Alloy consists of 2% tin, 6% antimony and 92% lead. This modern version of the old Lyman #2 is an excellent all-around alloy for most handgun bullets and many higher velocity rifle cartridges. The Brinell Hardness of Hardball Alloy is about 16.

Sold in ~5 pound ingots.

Ingots are approximately 8-3/4" x 1" x 2" and weigh 5 pounds (+/- .25).

Melting point 600-700° F

Lead ingots

Wow! I finally found a place that sends what they promise! I've had a terrible time finding a lead supplier that I can count on. Those that actually got the lead to me usually sent less than advertised. I got 6 lead alloy ingots at 5 lbs each. When I weighed them they were within one once of the advertised weight All but one were slightly over 5 pounds. The one that was under 5 lbs. was short 2 tenths of an ounce. I'm great with that! It's a great place to do business with.
