R98 Casting Alloy Pewter is an excellent casting pewter that contains approximately 98% Tin, 1.5% Bismuth, and 0.5% Copper.
The bismuth helps minimize shrinkage for small details, making this the best pewter from fine detail work.
The melting temperature is 466 -590 deg F and the pouring temperature is above that. Each ingot weighs approximately 1 pound.
