These nuggets are made of 99.9%+ new, clean lead. You will receive a mix of small cylinder nuggets, that measure approximately 3/4" in diameter and length, and range from .2 to .25 pounds each, or 4-5 pieces per pound. The nuggets are easy to melt and great for casting bullets and fishing weights. The Brinell Hardness scale of 99.9% Lead is approximately 5.
 
Individual nugget size varies.  Average size is approx 3/4" diameter by 1/2" to 1" length.

    We melted the lead nuggets to make plates to balance a large model airplane, we noted very minimal dross. The lead melted quickly with MAP gas torch. I didn’t stick to the mold we poured it into either. Will definitely buy more.

    I ordered these nuggets to see their quality before I made a large order. They are perfect for casting muzzleloader bullets, and can easily be added to a small casting pot. Delivery was very fast, arriving in only 3 days. I ordered a larger order after that. I’m very happy with Rotometals.

    With the present government policy we have, Lead bullets are expensive if you can find them, Rotometals lead is pure and case great ball for black powder rifles and pistols, the kind of weapons our democrat government says the second admenment was written for,

    Ordered this product to complete a special project. These lead nuggets were just what I needed to make a weighted ring needed to counter balance a propane gas cylinder. The price, metal form, quantity available, speed of delivery were all commendable.
