Ingots are approximately 8-3/4" x 1" x 2" and weigh 5 pounds (+/- .25). This alloy is comprised of twenty parts of lead and one part of tin (95% lead, 5% tin). The Brinell Hardness Number of 1 to 20 Alloy is approximately 10.

This has been the standard blackpowder cartridge alloy since the .45-70 Government Cartridge was first loaded in 1873. It is also popular with many of today's Cowboy Action Shooters.

Very clean with not trash and easy to melt in the lead pot. Just wish the price wasn't so high. I'll keep buying from Rotometals their shipping is very fast

Very good and clean alloy. I used to mix my own but lead and tin prices have gone up quit a bit so I buy from Roto metals. Might be slightly more expensive but I don't have to melt down 66lb ingot of lead and search for a cheaper price on tin,

Best bullet lead ever

I have been casting bullets for 58 years and this is the best lead I've ever encountered. Now I only cast for my 73 trapdoor, 405 HBFN, and this 1 to 20 is perfect, no dross! Combined with SPG lube and this lead, perfect bullet, thank you Rotometals

Very clean without any dross. I ladle pour and this mix is cleaner than I can make myself.
