This has been the standard blackpowder cartridge alloy since the .45-70 Government Cartridge was first loaded in 1873. It is also popular with many of today's Cowboy Action Shooters.
Price Per Pound:
This shipment continues the tradition of the alloys I and friends have bought. It is clean when fluxed, alloyed as promised and prompt shipment. Although I have scrap lead and tin, thus can make this alloy, I prefer the correct alloy for competition. Reasonably priced also.
Use this as one of my alloys for airgun slugs... first class product from a first class company!
Third time buying alloy from Rotometals. Best prices and best service. Thanks, Bob H.
Very clean with not trash and easy to melt in the lead pot. Just wish the price wasn't so high. I'll keep buying from Rotometals their shipping is very fast
Very good and clean alloy. I used to mix my own but lead and tin prices have gone up quit a bit so I buy from Roto metals. Might be slightly more expensive but I don't have to melt down 66lb ingot of lead and search for a cheaper price on tin,
I have been casting bullets for 58 years and this is the best lead I've ever encountered. Now I only cast for my 73 trapdoor, 405 HBFN, and this 1 to 20 is perfect, no dross! Combined with SPG lube and this lead, perfect bullet, thank you Rotometals
This review is for all of the ingots in my order regardless of alloy. The only complaint is from my postman !.
Very clean with no dross; like the ingot better than the chunks. Very fast deliver
The 1-20 ingots were clean and neat. Packaging was excellent and shipping super quick.
