Description

Zinc Sheet .030" thickness or 20 gauge. Buying a full sheet gives you the best value. The cut sizes have a tolerance of +/- 1/8". We recommend you order a piece that is larger then you need.

PVC - We ship our zinc sheets without PVC covering. If you would like to add PVC to your sheet to help minimize scratches, click here; you may add that to your order here. Make sure to order one PVC Lining per sheet ordered.

Shipping Warning- the most economical way to ship .020, .027, .030 sheets is via FedEx Ground rolled up in a box. However 5-10% of the time FedEx can damage the edges of the sheets in transit. UPS/FedEx most likely won't cover this via their insurance, so we recommend if you need the full width of the sheet then have the sheets shipped via freight. You must call to arrange freight shipping. Most people however don't need the full width, at they will be cutting off some of the edge or folding it under, so shipping via parcel service is fine. LTL In addition, if you choose LTL/Freight, you  MUST call if you need it shipped flat, or it will come rolled. There is an additional charge for flat freight.

Warning
Due to the nature of product, some scratches and blemishes should be expected. Metal sheets, just like their antique counterparts, may contain a certain amount of flaws, smudges, and scratches especially after shipping. Most of these marks can be buffed out using 0000 Steel Wool once the sheet is installed. IMPORTANT
make sure you unroll and reverse lay the sheet to help it relax and flatten back out faster. You also may apply some heat to help relax it. If you leave the sheet in the shipping box for more then 10-12 days
then it becomes harder to flatten.

    Just what I needed

Sheet arrived in a loose roll so it took a minute to get it flat again. Shipper dinged the edge a little, but that wasn’t hard to fix.

    20 ga zinc sheet

I bought this to use as a shooting surface in a photo studio. I put a patina on it with the Cupric Sulfate solution (also purchased from Rotometals). The sheet was very easy to work with and after a few applications of the solution via spray bottle (done over the course of a weekend), I got exactly what I wanted. Customer service at Rotometals was very responsive to my questions ahead of the order.
