Corrosion-Inhibitor Rods + Plugs with Reinforcing Wire a.k.a (Engine Anode)
Also known as sacrificial anodes, pencil anodes, or engine anodes, these zinc rods are consumed by any electrolytic action that would otherwise attack and corrode your valuable equipment. A reinforcing steel core holds zinc in place until it's completely consumed. They come with NPT hex brass plugs. Zinc rods protect from corrosion and scaling in hot water applications and may be used in cold water as well. Ideal for use in salt water. The following are sizes we stock and can ship out same day!
