Description
The ZHC-42 is a commercial anode containing a single, cast-in galvanized steel core, with 3/4" slotted holes on 6" centers for bolting onto the surface to be protected. It measures 6" x 2.5" x 12" and weighs approximately 42 pounds. It is rated at 1 amps/year and is made to current MIL A 18001K spec ALLOY (aka ASTM B-418 Type 1). But the strap is not plated so wont meet full spec, If you require a Full spec then contact us for a quote

ZHC-42 Bolt-on Anode for Floating Homes (BEST)
This bolt-on zinc anode (ZHC-42) replaces the older weld-on anode (ZHS-42), which was used on floating homes for many years. The problem with the weld-on version was that a welder was needed every time an anode needed replacement -- ugh! The new bolt-on feature finally makes the anodes user-replaceable. Two stainless bolts are welded onto the hanging copper wires, a one-time operation. From that point on, the new zincs can be ordered directly from RotoMetals, and replaced by the homeowner or a handy neighbor with just a wrench.
