.008" Zinc Sheet - 34 Gauge

Zinc Sheet - .008" Thickness - This is like foil and will come with crinkles, not perfectly smooth. DO NOT use for counter tops, because this thickness of sheet won't hold up to wear and tear like a thicker sheet.

Buying a full sheet gives you the best value. The cut sizes have a tolerance of +/- 1/8". We recommend you order a piece that is larger then you need.

Shipping: These pieces will be rolled into a box and shipped UPS. Once you receive the sheets you can unroll them and lay a board on top to straighten them out overnight.

Shipping Warning - The most economical way to ship sheets is via UPS/FedEx rolled up in a box. However, 5-10% of the time the carrier can damage the edges of the sheets in transit. UPS/FedEx most likely won't cover this via their insurance, so we recommend if you do need the full width of 28", 39", or 44", then have
the sheets shipped via freight. You must call to have it done that way. As most people however don't need the full width and will be cutting off some of the edge or folding it under, then shipping UPS/FedEx is fine.

WARNING Due to the nature of product, some scratches and blemishes should be expected. Metal sheets, just like their antique counterparts, may contain a certain amount of flaws, smudges, and scratches especially after shipping. Most of these marks can be buffed out using 0000 Steel Wool once the sheet is installed. IMPORTANT: make sure you unroll and reverse lay the sheet to help it relax and flatten back out faster. You also may apply some heat to help relax it. If you leave the sheet in the shipping box for more then 10 12 days then it becomes harder to flatten.
